This one-year certificate program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the floral industry.

Students learn customer relations, sales and window display techniques, botany, and the identification, care, and handling of flowers and plants. Students integrate theory and practice for nine hours per week in the hands-on design labs where they create traditional and contemporary floral arrangements using fresh, dried, and fabric flowers. These skills are reinforced during a practicum in a retail industrial environment.
