*** Offered in Winter 2010 ***The General Machinist program provides theoretical knowledge and practical applications to complement the on-the-job work experience gained by the apprentice. The program focuses on the core areas of: mathematics, machining theory, machining applications, and engineering drawings, as outlined by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU). The program is delivered in three levels, each providing increased in-depth knowledge in the core subjects. Each program level is 240 hours of instruction and is completed one day per week for a period of 30 weeks.
