*** Offered in Spring 2010 ***This Ontario College Certificate apprenticeship program provides auto body apprentices with an understanding of the ever-changing automotive technology field. In addition, students gain the technical skills required to use state-of-the-art equipment to properly and profitably repair damaged vehicles.
Students attend three 8-week levels of 30 hours per week of in-class sessions. Sixty percent of class time is spent in theory and 40 percent learning practical, hands-on skills. In the basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, students learn the different types of body construction, repair techniques, and refinishing procedures.
