This two-year Ontario College Diploma program is the first step in preparing students for a career in policing in Ontario and is of interest to those who aspire to become police constables. Students gain a broad education in human relations skills and the interpretations of social interaction. The curriculum includes courses on police powers and procedures, community policing, investigation processes, cultural relations, professional ethics, and communication.
The Pembroke Campus provides students with a unique exposure to municipal, provincial, and federal policing operations.
