This two-year Ontario College Diploma program provides students with the theoretical background and practical training in all aspects of outdoor and greenhouse horticulture including propagation, disease and pest control, soils and fertilizers, arboriculture, turf management, landscape design, and landscape construction.
During the academic year, the Woodroffe Campus becomes a living laboratory in applied horticulture and students focus on the handling and care of plant material and equipment and on basic landscape construction. Students also participate in field trips to become familiar with the horticulture industry.
