Multimedia is the combination of text, graphics, sound, and animation to create interactive packaging, design, and communication. This Ontario College Graduate Certificate program provides students with the knowledge and hands-on skills to design and build websites that include a design, applications, and web-based coding systems.

Students create diverse projects which can involve websites, e-commerce, video, screen savers, and games. The culminating projects of the program are a large-scale website or an application for a national or regional organization.

SUCCESS FACTORS

This program is well-suited for students who:
  • Have a familiarity with the Internet, a variety of applications, and are interested in the creation and design process.
  • Enjoy working in teams and small groups but can also work alone when required.
  • Have a background in any design or programming or math/business field.
