PHOTONICS ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
 


College eligibility

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent


    • OR

  • Mature Student status (19 years of age or over)


    • Program eligibility
  • English, Grade 12. (ENG4G, or equivalent, is required.)


  • Mathematics, Grade 12. (Mathematics for Technology - MTT4G, or a mathematics with a similar content, is required.)


    • Note: Although the minimum requirement for entry to this program is Mathematics, Grade 12 (MTT4G, applicants are encouraged to acquire mathematical skills beyond this level before beginning their program. Physics, Grade 12 (SPH4C) is recommended (although not required). Applicants who have been out of school for a period of time are encouraged to take a refresher course in mathematics prior to the start of classes. Refresher/upgrading courses are available through Continuing Education and through local school boards.
