REGISTERED NURSE - OPERATING ROOM

Admission Requirements

• Proof of current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Registration as a Registered Nurse.
  
  
• A minimum of one year (1,750 hrs) of clinical nursing experience within the last 5 years prior to preceptorship.
  
  
• A letter from employer verifying work experience, and number of worked.
  
  
• Prior to clinical experience, students are required to complete an Algonquin College Health Assessment Form and/or Immunization Form. A Police Record Check must be completed and on file prior to the first clinical experience. Please obtain an application form from, and return it to:
