This course will discuss how the online environment offers new ways of learning and offers the opportunity to develop new methods of assessment that can promote more effective learning. The main issues that must be addressed when planning new methods of assessment and feedback will be discussed as well as current innovative practices which exploits the potential for collaborative learning offered by the online environment. Practical aspects of electronic marking, including the use of reviewing toolbars, digital drop boxes, the creation of an effective file management system, and custom email organization will also be covered. |
