Course Description:
This course will introduce key concepts related to the promotion mix and the various components will be introduced in an IMC (integrated marketing communications) framework. Students will be introduced to a variery of creative approaches to attract attention and effectively communicate marketing messages. The role and advantages of advertising, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing, and internet marketing will be introduced. Ethical and regulatory considerations will also be explored.
