Students learn the basic principles associated with Incident Command System (ICS) covering organization, facilities, and
standard terminology. Students learn organization operation and resource management and explore examples of how the essential principles of ICS are used in incidents and expand into large-scare multi-jurisdictional operations. Students discuss planning, operational, logistical, and fiscal considerations related to the management of complex incidents and events, and review the role of the Emergency Operations Centre as it related to the Incident Command System. |
