Registrar’s Convocation

Like many other colleges across the province, and given the current work stoppage, we have decided to cancel the convocation ceremonies scheduled for Oct. 25-28, 2017.

Convocation is a time for our learners to celebrate their accomplishments with everyone who taught them, encouraged them, and contributed in countless ways to their success. Unfortunately, the work stoppage means a group of those people is unavailable to share in what is always a highlight of the year.

This is such an important experience that we do not want our graduates to miss it, which is why we are inviting the affected graduates to the spring 2018 Convocation, which will be held the week of June 18, 2018. This means our graduates will be able to celebrate their accomplishments with friends, family and the entire Algonquin College community.

For those of you who were scheduled to graduate this fall, your credentials will be mailed to you later this month. If your mailing address has changed, please contact the Registrar’s Office.

We will be updating our FAQ to reflect this news, so please check www.algonquincollege.com/strikeinfo for more details.

Sincerely,
