Salary Range: Payband I - $32.19-$37.31 per hour ($60,912 to $70,600 per annum based on a 36.25 hour work week). The College also offers a comprehensive range of fringe benefits.

Job Description  
To provide leadership in systems management, systems programming and technical support services for the College's technical infrastructure. Reporting to the Manager of the Infrastructure Services Team, the incumbent is responsible for the planning, tailoring, installing, monitoring and maintaining of operating systems, networking and data communications systems software, internet client server software, and layered software products and utilities, including the initial and on-going product research; providing technical advice, training, guidance and direction to administrative and academic clients; having the overall responsibility for the efficient and effective evaluation and utilization of client software, servers, networking, and inter/intranet resources.

Required Qualifications  
• 3 year diploma/degree in a computer science or related field or equivalent combination of appropriate education
• Valid holder of MCSE or MCSA or RHCSA or LPIC2 certification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting a large-scale computing, networking and data communication environments.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience is supporting Windows or Unix operating systems
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in network application and utilities (SMTP,IMAP/POP, Web, FTP proxy services)
• Minimum 1 year experience in scripting and programing
• A high level of analysis and problem solving skills
• Ability to plan and coordinate multiple tasks for multiple clients
• Ability to work in a group or independently with a minimum if supervision
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
