Salary Range: Payband D - $21.48-$24.87 per hour ($40,646 to $47,060 per annum based on a 36.25 hour work week). The College also offers a comprehensive range of fringe benefits.

Job Description  
Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, the incumbent, using the current College Financial Software system, processes, modifies and updates purchase orders, maintains the Supplier database for the College and expedites outstanding orders on a monthly basis.

Required Qualifications  
  • Minimum of a two (2) year General Business Administration diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in the Purchasing field and client service.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with e-procurement, Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving.
  • Knowledge of the Purchasing module of the PeopleSoft system.
  • Familiarity with provincial procurement directives.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, highly fluctuating workloads and urgent requirements.
  • Strong sense of ethics and sensitivity to public relations.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
