Job Description  

The incumbent provides a wide range of support services to students, faculty, managers, internal and external contacts related to the delivery of educational practices in the School of Hospitality and Tourism.

The incumbent is responsible for the receiving, distribution and other inventory control practices for food, beverage, equipment and other class materials associated with the educational practices of the department.

Required Qualifications  
  • One (1) year post-secondary certificate in Culinary, Baking or Pastry Arts
  • Minimum of three (3) years work experience in a foodservice operation
  • Current valid sanitation certification
  • Red Seal Cook certification, would be considered an asset
  • Ability to follow instructions with strong attention to detail skills
  • Previous shipping or receiving experience, would be considered an asset
  • Proven ability to be punctual, dependable, and enthusiastic
  • Ability to lift up to 44 lbs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends
