The Manager, Business Intelligence provides vision, leadership and management for the College’s data systems and analysis toolsets while supporting the execution of the College’s digital strategy and business plan. The mandate of Business Intelligence is the extraction, dissemination and generation of insight and decision support from the data managed by the College. Leverage and analysis of College data leads to a strategic advantage in a competitive education environment.
The Manager is also accountable for developing, leading and evaluating the College’s Business Intelligence and Institutional Research strategy in consultation with stakeholders from across the College and external contacts including government officials and service providers. The Manager ensures the timely and accurate collection, analysis and reporting of institutional data including data related to key performance indicators, multi-year accountability agreements, the College’s strategic plan and annual business plan.The Manager, Business intelligence is also responsible for the effective monitoring of the external economic factors to identify trends, patterns and opportunities that would provide a competitive advantage to the Colleges business or that could have a negative or disruptive impact on the College’s business.
