Salary Range: Payband F - $24.91-$28.88 per hour ($47,136 to $54,648 per annum based on a 36.25 hour work week). The College also offers a comprehensive range of fringe benefits.

Job Description  
Reporting to the Academic Manager, the incumbent provides overall administrative support to all full-time students in the Centre for Continuing and Online Learning (CCOL). The position is centered on customer service and promotes a caring attitude between college personnel and students. The incumbent will provide assistance to students and promote success with their studies. Early warning systems and support of other student retention and recruitment initiatives will be an important part of the position. The incumbent will work with the program coordinators, placement coordinators and course facilitators by providing administrative support to all full-time online programs.

Required Qualifications  
  • A minimum of a three (3) year diploma/degree or equivalent, in Communication, Marketing and/or Administration.
  • A minimum three (3) years’ experience providing front line administrative support in an educational environment.
  • Experience dealing with a wide range of student inquiries.
  • Experience with the use of statistical and database software such as Excel.
  • Experience conducting preliminary research and preparing brief reports.
  • Experience organizing events.
  • Experience using student information management software.
  • Familiar with online learning and the associated policies, procedures and administrative deadlines.
