Serving as an ambassador and communicator for the Algonquin College Foundation, the Alumni Foundation Officer is responsible for building alumni engagement both online and through alumni initiatives. The Alumni Foundation Officer is responsible for building, maintaining and contributing to a robust, and active set of Alumni and Foundation social media networks.
The Alumni Foundation Officer will also support the Algonquin College Foundation communications initiatives through announcements of gifts, Foundation web page administration, maintenance and developing a social media presence.
The Alumni Foundation Officer will oversee the organizing of alumni events and activities ranging from the Alumni involvement in Algonquin College Career Networking Fair, Algonquin College Alumni Advisory Committee Meetings, Alumni Socials, Job Fairs, Orientation, Convocation and will assist the Algonquin College Foundation as required with Foundation events and initiatives.
The Alumni Foundation Officer will work in collaboration with colleagues representing schools and departments from across the College, the Alumni Foundation Officer will work to create and maintain pathways for alumni and donor participation, work with the Algonquin College Foundation to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward alumni giving and communicate both externally and internally on behalf of the Foundation and Alumni.
