Job Description
|
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Student Recruitment, the incumbent is responsible for all marketing and marketing-related activities and initiatives housed within the School of Business. Significant emphasis will be placed on fostering mutually beneficial relationships with individuals – both academic (secondary teachers and guidance counselors) and non-academic (professionals, students, parents, industry professionals). The incumbent will also be encouraged to participate in various networking and/or committee groups, serving as a college and Faculty champion. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a strong liaison between the School of Business, Advancement, and the other Faculty Marketing Officers as part of the Faculty Level Marketing team. With a strong understanding of the College’s strategic marketing objectives and in collaboration with Advancement’s Marketing Department, the incumbent will develop and implement an Annual Faculty Marketing and Recruitment Plan outlining the School’s direction in areas including web management (content authoring, architecture, maintenance), social media (Faculty social media properties), event management (targeted student recruitment initiatives, including; Open House, March Break activities, High School visits, webinars, etc.), and promotional requirements (outbound and inbound marketing tactics). |

Required Qualifications
|
-
minimum three year community college diploma/degree or equivalent in Public Relations, Marketing, Business or a related field
-
must have a minimum of five years experience in communications, marketing, and media planning
-
demonstrated experience in marketing / sales / public relations
-
demonstrated knowledge of marketing intelligence analysis and reporting
-
excellent communication skills; both oral and written
-
self-motivated with strong attention to detail
-
proven ability to prioritize activities within a cross-college team environment
-
strong presentation skills
-
advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-
demonstrated knowledge of desktop publishing and web design
-
comprehensive knowledge of providing excellent customer service skills

ability to work well independently and as a team member |
