Job Description  

The School of Media and Design is looking for a professor to teach in the Interactive Multimedia
Post-Graduate Certificate program.

This 4-hour course involves mark-up languages and tools for web development, including HTML 4 - 5, CSS 3, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and WordPress. Other courses involve AJAX and JavaScript libraries.

Note: These courses will be taught during the day and will take place during the Spring term from May to August.

Required Qualifications  
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in web design and development
  • Experience working with: Dreamweaver, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and XML
  • Advanced experience with WordPress, proper coding techniques, wireframing, and fluid design
  • Excellent people, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience teaching adults in a classroom setting, would be considered an asset
  • Experience with Photoshop, would be considered an asset
  • Able and willing to learn and use new technologies
