Job Description
|
| Reporting to the Manager of Community and Student Affairs, the Campus Employment Services Assistant provides clerical and organizational support to the Employment Services, Co-operative Education, Academic Upgrading and Student Success Specialist positions at the Pembroke Campus. This includes supporting students and the general public with accessing employment services, filing, letter writing, developing resumes and cover letters, posting jobs on line and on bulletin boards, processing of invoices and payment claims, data entry of clients into the Employment Ontario Content Management System, following up with students and employers by phone and email to set up appointments, etc. |

Required Qualifications
|
- 2 year Office Administration Executive Diploma;
-
A minimum of one year experience as an Office Administrative assistant;

Some work experience in either Employment Services or Academic Upgrading;

Previous experience working within an Employment Ontario program would be an asset;

Excellent word processing skills (65 wpm);
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of programming including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, ACCESS.

Strong communication skills;
-
Excellent organizational skills. |
