Salary Range: Payband F - $24.91-$28.88 per hour ($47,136 to $54,648 per annum based on a 36.25 hour work week). The College also offers a comprehensive range of fringe benefits.

Job Description  
Reporting to the Operations and Program Implementations Manager, the incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring compliance with internal and external financial and operational policies and procedures for the Centre of Continuing and Online Learning. A requirement of this position is to assist in the coordination and development of the Centre’s budget process and to provide analytical assistance in the various activities. Incumbent prepares financial and operational reports to meet the information needs of management as well as external stakeholders. The incumbent oversees the day-to-day administrative and financial operations for the Centre for Continuing and Online Learning.

Required Qualifications  
  • Three (3) year Diploma/Degree in Business Administration Accounting or equivalent
  • Five (5) years of related experience in budgetary/finance related positions with increasing responsibilities in administrative areas where accounting, computer and advanced Microsoft Excel skills were utilized
  • Five (5) years experience preparing and forecasting budgets, monitoring revenue and expenses, providing detailed ad-hoc ongoing analysis
  • Five (5) years experience with financial reporting, projections, developing annual budgets, quarterly reviews and reconciliations
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite products
  • Experience dealing with external clients and/or contractors at a professional level
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • A Client-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with the College information and financial systems, would be considered an asset
