Job Description
|
The School of Health and Community Studies is seeking part-time professors to join our academic team. It is expected that the professors will develop and adapt existing curriculum in order to teach the in the Early Childhood Education program. The following courses are open: Assessment of Children’s Learning and Foundations of Early Childhood Education. The courses will start the week of January 7, 2013 and end April 28, 2013. There is also the possibility of following students in their field placements in the community (remuneration per visit and transportation costs). |

Required Qualifications
|

Bachelor of Early Learning, Psychology, Child Studies, Education or equivalent preferred, Diploma in ECE required
-
Minimum of 5 years work experience in the field

Member of College of Early Childhood Educators

Experience with course management systems
-
Teaching experience at the post-secondary level is an asset
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. |
