Job Description
|
Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations and Events, the Secretary provides a full range of administrative, client service and secretarial support to the Registrar, the management team and Support Staff within the Registrar’s Office.
Hours of work for this position are 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Note: Testing for MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) will be conducted at the time of interview. |

Required Qualifications
|
- A minimum of a one (1) year post-secondary certificate, in Office Administration or equivalent
- Three (3) years of full-time related secretarial/administrative experience in a non-routine, fast-paced office environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required
- Strong Computer skills with experience in using PeopleSoft, and HRIS systems,
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to research and make recommendations
- Ability to adhere to privacy policies and procedures
- Strong client focus and desire to work in busy team environment
- Experience working Student Information Systems, would be considered an asset
